I'm Sabrin Daoud. I'm a qualified integrative counsellor, working psychodynamically and person-centredly, and a registered member of the BACP.
I came to this work through an interest in understanding people. What shapes us, what we carry, how we grow.
Some of that interest is professional. Some of it is lived. I know something of what it is to carry what was never named, and to feel only partially seen. That isn't incidental to why I do this.
I don't believe this work has a fixed end point. It unfolds slowly, and in layers. I bring that same patience to the people I sit with.
The relationship between us is at the centre of everything I do. Real change doesn't happen through technique alone. It happens in the space between two people, when there's enough safety, enough honesty, and enough trust to go somewhere new together.
I understand what it means to carry the weight of generations. The grief, the silence, the patterns passed down through families and cultures that we inherit without choosing. That kind of pain doesn't always have a name. It still belongs in the room.
Cultural sensitivity isn't a box I tick. It's part of how I see people.
Whoever you are, wherever you come from, whatever your gender, sexuality, spirituality or beliefs, however you move through the world and whoever you love, you are welcome here without condition. I understand what it means to feel only partially seen, and that understanding shapes everything I do.
These matter, so they're here in plain sight rather than buried:
Sessions are 50 minutes, weekly, through a secure video platform. £60 each.
I work remotely only. I'm based in London, but I don't offer face-to-face sessions, so everything happens online. That means where you are in the UK makes no difference at all. Wherever you're sitting, there's room for you here.

The easiest way to know if we fit is simply to talk.
